Tuttosport: The four strikers Milan have on their wish list ahead of planned investment

The AC Milan management intend to make an investment on a young centre-forward this summer and four names are on their list, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara know that when the transfer window reopens they will more than likely have to sign a new striker who can lead the line in the future.

Olivier Giroud will turn 37 this year, Zlatan Ibrahimovic could well retire in June and Divock Origi has not offered what was hoped since his arrival, often leaving Stefano Pioli with a threadbare attack.

The paper believe that Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta should be the main target as he continues to have an impressive debut season in Serie A, and he was also watch by Milan before his arrival in Bergamo.

However there are also three other names under consideration: Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt (15 goals this season in all competitions), Noah Okafor of Red Bull Salzburg (10 goals) and Lois Openda of RC Lens (9 goals).

  1. Kolo Muani is too expensive. The same with Hojlund. There’s nothing impressive about Okafor or Openda. Moukoko is available on a free transfer and while there’s going to be a lot of interest, most of the big clubs already have established strikers, his route to the first team would be much easier at Milan. Failing that, Beto would be a solid, cheap alternative.

  2. Milan managenent should immediately decide on good, reliable striker in the osimhen style and get him straightaway before any other team can intervene and take him away …. otherwise if we take 6 months to decide, then might as well give up.
