Frattesi admits he is ‘not ready’ to move abroad amid Milan and Inter links

Davide Frattesi has ended up on the radar of AC Milan as a midfielder is needed this summer to cover up for the injured Ismael Bennacer. The Sassuolo man has now admitted that he wants to stay in Italy.

Frattesi is destined to leave Sassuolo for a bigger club this summer, with the likes of Inter, Juventus and Milan all interested in his services. There has also been some interest from abroad, but the 23-year-old isn’t keen on that.

Speaking to Sky Italia after the game between Italy and Spain, which the latter won, Frattesi shared his thoughts on the future. He admitted that he’s not ready to make a move abroad, keen on staying in Italy instead.

“I don’t feel ready to go abroad yet, I’d rather stay in Italy and I also told this to the Sassuolo director. This is my will,” he stated as cited by MilanNews.

This morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that Inter are in pole position for the player but they need to sell first. Milan, therefore, could involve themselves in the race and Juventus cannot be counted out either.
