From Denmark: Milan leading the race to land FC Copenhagen winger with €10m+ price tag

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ‘working hard’ to sign Mohammed Daramy from FC Copenhagen this summer, according to a report.

According to BT in Denmark, sources close to the operation say that the Rossoneri are furthest along in the process of buying the Danish talent. However, Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen are keen while Red Bull Group, with RB Leipzig and Salzburg in their portfolio – have also shown interest.

The Danish U21 national team player is regarded as one of the biggest talents in his country, as at the age of only 19 he has already played 82 matches for Copenhagen. That is why the expectation is that Daramy will be sold for over €10m, especially since he has two-and-a-half years left on his contract with the capital club.

BT has been in contact with FC Copenhagen’s sports director, Peter Christiansen, who does not want to comment on Daramy’s future. The teenager plays as a right winger, and amassed 5 goals and 3 assists across all competitions for Copenhagen this season.
