AC Milan could have a clear path to land Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak as Liverpool have changed targets, according to a report.
The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Kabak over the past couple of months and they are expected to go back in for him once the window reopens given that a centre-back was not signed during the summer, but multiple outlets have also credited Liverpool with interest in the Turkey international.

However, the Liverpool Echo are suggesting that Kabak is in fact not a priority for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they have in fact identified Torino defender Gleison Bremer as the man they want to bolster a defensive department currently in crisis due to so many injuries.
That means that Milan may have a clear path to land the 20-year-old Kabak, and not only that but a lack of competition could mean they get an economically advantageous deal too with the Bundesliga side seemingly willing to sell.
