From France: Milan monitoring 19-year-old striker who is latest Le Havre academy sensation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of three clubs interested in signing young Le Havre striker Josue Casmiri, according to a report from France.

The French side have seen some incredible talent pass through their academy such as Ferland Mendy, Benjamin Mendy, Riyad Mahrez and Dimitri Payet as well as Steve Mandanda and Paul Pogba. As Footmercato writes, it is a path that Casmiri hopes to follow.

At 19 years old, the fast and versatile forward is beginning to attract interest from some top clubs. He is able to play on the wing or as a playmaker too and is regarded as a prospect well worth monitoring in the years to come.

Some clubs are already following him with one eye, and sources close to Footmercato have said that Leicester, Milan and Wolfsburg are keen in particular, but there has been no concrete move from any club for the moment. Under contract until June 2023, Casmiri has four appearances in Ligue 2 this season plus one in the league cup.
