Angel Correa’s move to AC Milan is on the verge of being confirmed as Atletico Madrid are set to sign Rodrigo, a report claims.
We recently reported that personal terms have been agreed with the Argentine, who wants a move to the Rossoneri, but a €10m gap between Milan’s offer and Atleti’s valuation was stalling a deal.
It was claimed on Monday that the LaLiga side were willing to lower their demands to try and fund other arrivals, and earlier on Tuesday a big update arrived from Spain.
Cadena Ser stated that Correa is all set to join Milan in a €55million deal as Rodrigo Moreno’s move to Atletico for €60m had been finalised.
Now, Libertad Digital offer their own take on things by claiming that there is a total agreement between the Rojiblancos and Valencia for Rodrigo.
Before signing the striker however, Correa’s future must be resolved: if the Argentine does not end up in Milan, Rodrigo will join.
For now, it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri are willing to match the €50million asking price, but at the moment there is optimism that the Correa deal can be done and Atletico will subsequently get their man in Rodrigo
