From Spain: Milan hatch plan to beat Leicester and Aston Villa to €15m Ligue 1 star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will attempt to try and beat the competition to the signing of Florian Thauvin and even have a trick up their sleeve, a report claims.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for Thauvin by media outlets in Italy, France and even Spain too as it appears Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking to strengthen the right flank.

According to the latest from Fichajes.net, Milan could in fact offer Samu Castillejo as part of the deal to try and land Thauvin in the January transfer window. It must be remembered that in the summer window Marseille wanted €15m for the France international, and in June his contract will expire meaning he would be available on a free.

The outlet adds how the feeling is that Milan will try to beat the competition by buying the player in January, paying compensation to Marseille, as Premier League duo Leicester and Aston Villa are also sniffing around the 27-year-old.
