From Spain: Milan willing to offer €10m for Barcelona centre-back Messi has become angry with

AC Milan are interested Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet but are not willing to pay the asking price, according to a report.

There has been a lot of speculation that Milan could sign a new centre-back in the summer window as doubts remain over the futures of Alessio Romagnoli and Fikayo Tomori given the former is under contract until 2022 and the latter is only on loan.

According to Don Balon, the French centre-back has had a really bad year with individual errors that have cost many points. Last weekend in the 91st minute – with Barça struggling to score the goal that kept them in the title fight – he committed a foul that led to a yellow card and with rage he threw the ball very far away which wasted time. None of his team-mates understood it, and Messi became infuriated with that gesture.

They are willing to sell the former Sevilla man, and Milan seems to be the team most interested in signing Lenglet but they are not willing to pay more than €10m, an amount that Barça consider insufficient.

Barca instead value Lenglet at €25m but the economic situation of the clubs does not suggest that he will have a buyer. Lenglet has made 33 appearances in LaLiga this season, and cost the Catalan side €35m to sign as per Wikipedia.
