From Spain: Real Betis reach verbal agreement with Milan winger over move – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan winger Samu Castillejo is not happy with his current situation and will push for a summer exit, a report claims.

According to Spanish outlet TF, Real Betis are on the lookout for reinforcements for the attack especially considering that Nabil Fekir seems destined to leave in the summer. They are being proactive too, and the report adds that the Verdiblancos have found an agreement with Castillejo, but they must still negotiate with Milan.

The fact that he is seemingly a back-up at the moment to Alexis Saelemaekers has caused the player to request his departure and despite having offers from all over Europe, Castillejo wants to return to Spain.

Their manager Pellegrini has even spoken with the player, and now Betis are expected to ask for a loan with an option to buy in summer 2022, which could suit the Rossoneri management who seem to be looking for other solutions themselves.
