AC Milan booked their place in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia with a 3-1 win over Roma last night in which Tammy Abraham and two new signings starred.
Milan put themselves in a great position with their first half performance as Abraham netted a brace against his parent club. The first with a brilliant header and the second came having been put through on goal, both assists from Theo Hernandez.
Artem Dovbyk did score early in the second half off the bench to reduce the deficit, but then January additions Santiago Gimenez and Joao Felix linked up after coming on – the former setting up the latter – to restore the two-goal lead.

The pass from Giminez was exquisite too, deft finish by Felix….I’ve been a critic but two top finishes from Tammy as well.
We have 5 players in the middle, 2 of which are injured. We are short in the middle of the field and I don’t know where this euphoria comes from that we can play three competitions with 3 healthy players? Wasn’t it better to take Fagioli instead of Sottilo?? Is it realistic that no one sees the short blanket in the middle?
