Full schedule for the 14 Milan players called up for international duty

The international duty is back and for Milan, it can be seen as a positive break for the players. The Rossoneri have won their opening three games in the league but the tight schedule was starting to get to them.

Although Stefano Pioli has been able to rotate further up the pitch, thus preserving the energy, Matteo Gabbia and Simon Kjaer have started all the games at the back. Both are called up for the international break, but it should still do them well.

In total, 14 Rossoneri players have been called up to their respective national team, several of them for the U21 sides. Milan have a very young squad and their average age against Spezia was just 22 years and 287 days (the starting XI).

On their official website, Milan published the full schedule for all of their ‘international’ players. The fans, if they can’t wait to see the Rossoneri in the derby, can thus enjoy a glimpse of the team in action this week as well.
