MN: Full squad expected at Milanello on Thursday after international commitments

By Oliver Fisher -

Preparations are underway for the resumption of Serie A action which for AC Milan will happen on Monday night against Bologna at San Siro.

It was a busy break for Milan as the official website confirmed that 13 Rossoneri players were called up to their national teams for World Cup play-offs, Euro U21 and some U20s Elite League action too. The stand-out was Olivier Giroud who scored in both games, while Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao also got assists.

MilanNews reports that once the commitments with their respective national teams are over, all the Rossoneri squad members will meet again in Milanello in the next few hours, starting the French duo Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez who have already returned today.

The others are expected tomorrow at the training ground and among these is Alessandro Florenzi, who is doing well after suffering an overload in his knee that ruled him out of Italy’s win against Turkey last night.
