CM.it: Future of Chelsea winger seems marked as Milan ponder summer attempt

By Oliver Fisher -

Hakim Ziyech is still being earmarked for an exit from Chelsea and it seems AC Milan have not given up on the idea of signing him.

Calciomercato.it report that Graham Potter’s decision to start Joao Felix against Fulham despite having only welcomed him a couple of days prior speaks volumes about his thoughts on some of the other players in the attacking department.

Moreover, the arrival of Christopher Nkunku will give even less game time to players like Ziyech. In either January or the summer he will have to find a new club to help relaunch his career, and a very positive World Cup showed he still has plenty to give.

In recent weeks, his name has returned to the Milan orbit. The Rossoneri like him but no negotiations have been started recently and there are no plans to strengthen in the January transfer window, but in the summer Ziyech’s name could become concrete again.

  1. Why would they give Ziyech bigger salary then our proven squad players? Why did give the biggest salary to Dest, who is struggling in Milan and deleted from Barca squad?
Many decisions regarding transfers and player salaries are unable to be explained. We lost 3 strong proven players for free such as Hakan, Kessie and Romagnoli, to spend money On Origi, Dest and now they want Ziyech.

    1. Dest salary was Barca’s decision. Its not our decision to give Dest that much, its Barca’s. When we loan a player, we pay his full salary (unless mentioned in the loan contract, like only 50% salary etc).

You always complain and complain but try to get the big picture right first before complain.
