CM: Galatasaray leading race for Milan defender as Nice and Nottingham Forest lurk

By Oliver Fisher -

Galatasaray are now leading the race to sign Fode Ballo-Toure who has decided he wants to leave AC Milan, a report claims.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, the Senegalese left-back would like to leave the Rossoneri in the last days of the transfer market because he knows that Theo Hernandez is anchored in the starting role and he will get very little playing time as a result.

In the last few hours Galatasaray have returned to negotiating table and they are accelerating their pursuit. Talks between Milan and Galatasaray are ongoing but there is still no agreement on the formula for the time being.

The Turkish club are pushing for a paid loan of €2m with an option to buy set at €4m, while Milan want a permanent sale this summer for a figure of €5m.

In the next few hours new contacts are expected to understand if Galatasaray will decide to approach the requests of Milan, with OGC Nice and Nottingham Forest interested too and lurking in the background.
