Gallery: ‘Milan anger’, ‘Scudetto in slow motion’ – Today’s front pages of Italian papers

By Isak Möller -

It was another disappointing evening for AC Milan and their fans last night as Udinese snatched one point at San Siro. Inter also drew their game which, inevitably, was highlighted in today’s papers.

In the last round, all of the top teams dropped points as Milan drew to Salernitana and Inter lost to Sassuolo, to name a few. This time out, the Rossoneri didn’t gain any points on their city rivals but they remain ahead.

On their front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following: “Furia Milan. Moving forward with Leao, Udogie scoring for Udinese but touches it with his arm. VAR misses it. Maldini attack. Pioli: ‘Still penalized’. And on Tuesday, the Coppa Italia derby”.

Tuttosport, meanwhile, wrote this: “Fury Milan, Inter crisis. Udogie, Udinese’s arm goal. Pioli: ‘It is obvious, penalized once again’. Maldini: ‘Enough with inexperienced referees at San Siro'”.

Finally, Corriere Dello Sport joined in on the party: “They [Milan and Inter] don’t win anymore. Scudetto in slow motion, Napoli can go to the top tomorrow evening. Milan held back by Udinese: 1-1. The anger of Pioli: Goal to be cancelled”.
