Christian Pulisic’s contract with AC Milan officially expires at the end of next season, and the club must work on his renewal.
There is no doubting that Pulisic has been probably Milan’s most consistent player since his arrival from Chelsea in 2023. In fact, he has recorded 42 goals and 25 assists in 120 appearances across all competitions since joining the Rossoneri, becoming a real leader.

Despite the fact he has missed parts of the season due to physical problems, the USA international is the top scorer in the league for Milan with eight goals. He is back in full training and should therefore be in the squad to face Pisa, but in the meantime there is some uncertainty regarding his renewal.
Pulisic’s renewal in stalemate
On his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti hosted Marco Guidi – a journalist from La Gazzetta dello Sport – who spoke about Pulisic’s contract situation. MilanNews relayed what he had to say on the matter.
“There’s been a stalemate that’s been going on for a long time. Paradoxically, negotiations with Maignan, which then fell through around this time last year, hadn’t progressed for a year. I’ve been saying the same about Pulisic for over a year,” he said.
“It’s a situation that needs to be addressed. One thing must be said: until very recently, if Pulisic were to go and check his performance data, I – if I were the player’s agent – would ask for the same [salary] as Leao and Maignan, while the previous base agreement was a bit less.
“So it’s important to understand whether the standstill situation arose from the player or the club. There was a good base agreement, we were talking about €5m [net per season], which was fine with the player, but if he doesn’t sign, it counts for nothing.
“Pulisic also has a different role than Maignan, so we also need to understand if someone suddenly senses this stalemate and is trying to take advantage.”

No, when a player puts in a transfer request and has offers they are typically gone. I believe that Reijnders signed an extension just before leaving for Man City. You don’t want to keep players who don’t want to be there on your team. Besides, it will be good money for Allegri to sign another defender.
defender is already coming under 20M, Mario Gila… (Odogu loaned out as a result). we are also getting Bondo back for depth in midfield.
only thing this squad needs are upgrades for Estupinan, RLC and maybe Gimenez depending on how his return works out.

the only, thing that we could add additionally is a CB to the players I mentioned… and even in that situation we wouldn’t need to sell Pulisic (we are getting UCL money + 60-65M)

My gut says he will end up back in England. I wish he would stay.
If this was about money he’d go to Inter Miami. I think he wants more guarantees of playing time and what his role is before he signs. Imagine each season he’s had a new coach each with different roles for him to play.

I should also add the the English papers indicate there have been no meetings or meetings scheduled between the club and Pulisic’s agent. Hmmmmm. What does it mean? So, what’s the stalemate?
Years left in the contract with an option for one more. So, what’s the rush?

I think it’s smart of Puli to hold off on renewal talks given the sh*t show of last season. He’s wise to sit back, see where the “project” is going and where other renewals fall in line.
There’s time for him not to mention an option that Mika has on him for another year. But at this rate he’d want to see what the team looks like in CL and whether Allegri can keep it going. Not to mention he would be right to ask for Leao/Mike money to renew. Although I think in his case the project would weigh more than the renewal.
He’s a star. He deserves Leao/Maignan salary. Just give him that and we are chillin
