With Alessio Cerci and Stephan El Shaarawy exiting the Rossoneri, the name of Hatem Ben Arfa has appeared as a possible transfer target.
All the talk previously was about Anwar El Ghazi of Ajax, although it seems that a deal is far from being reached with the 20-year-old.
Ben Arfa, 28, is currently playing his football in Ligue 1 with OGC Nice, where he has been since January 2015. The French international is having a wonderful season for the club, having scored 11 goals and boosting his profile to potential suitors.
Previous to Nice, Ben Arfa playing at Newcastle for four years between 2011-2015, where he scored 12 goals in 72 total appearances. He spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Hull City, failing to score in eight appearances.
The situation surrounding players such as Luiz Adriano also remains unclear, but what does seem clear is that any more outgoings from the Milan attacking department will result in purchases to maintain depth.
