AC Milan are set to start Ismael Bennacer as the regista against Lazio on Sunday night and not Lucas Biglia, a report claims.
The Rossoneri welcome their visitors from the capital for yet another crucial game, with Milan looking to trim the gap between themselves and the European spots after losing five of their first ten games this season.
Stefano Pioli made four changes to the starting XI against SPAL compared to the team which took to the field the weekend before away at Roma, but more changes could be on the horizon.
Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) claimed that Biglia will start as the regista, while Samu Castillejo, Krzysztof Piatek and Hakan Calhanoglu would be the front three, with Rade Krunic coming into the midfield in place of Franck Kessie.
However the paper – again cited by MilanNews.it – are now reporting that it is in fact Bennacer who is favourite to start over his Argentine team-mate, with Pioli preferring the more youthful presence in the centre of the park.
