GdS: Brahim’s future remains in limbo as Milan ponder €22m clause

Brahim Diaz was one of the best players for AC Milan in their 2-0 win against Juventus, getting on the scoresheet after a great solo run. However, his future with the club is still in limbo, as a report highlights.

The Spaniard first arrived at the club in the summer of 2020 on a season-long loan. Milan and Real Madrid then agreed to sign a new two-year loan, also including a €22m buy-out clause and a €27m buy-back in favour of the Spanish side.

Diaz’s spell at Milan hasn’t been hugely successful and it remains to be seen if he can use yesterday’s goal to spark a period of consistent success. In that case, the Rossoneri would have to seriously consider the €22m clause.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan will not rush the decision as – after all – they have the rest of the season and a little more to decide. As such, it’s very important for Brahim to continue on this path if he wants to stay.
