GdS: Calhanoglu sale to fund Fabregas move in January

AC Milan are reportedly considering offloading Hakan Calhanoglu to fund a move for Cesc Fabregas.

Calhanoglu arrived last season as a part of the Chinese revolution and had a good season, but has yet to meet standards this year.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will use the transfer of Calhanoglu to secure the signature of Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea who demand a fee of €8million. Milan reportedly intend to pay no more than half that figure.

Hakan was signed for €22m just one season ago and Milan’s desire is to recuperate most of that in his sale, with Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig a viable candidate.
