AC Milan full-back Andrea Conti is reportedly determined to stay at the club ‘at all costs’ despite speculation linking him with an exit.
Reports emerged on Sunday linking the former Atalanta man with a move to Parma on a dry loan, with suggestions that the player met with his family and his agents to discuss his options.
Despite all the speculation surrounding his client leaving San Siro, Conti’s representative Mario Giufreddi definitively ruled out an exit on Monday.
”Andrea will remain categorically with Milan,” he told PianetaMilan.it.
Now, a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) on Tuesday has confirmed that the player would like to stay with Milan ‘at all costs’.
Davide Calabria does appear to be ahead of the 25-year-old in the pecking order at the moment, at least based on preseason.
However Conti is apparently ready to communicate his decision to the management: he wishes to stay and battle with Calabria for the starting RB spot.
