GdS: Defender told his time at Milan is over – asking price set as Valencia lead the hunt

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have told the agent of Mateo Musacchio that the defender will be allowed to leave this summer and will not be offered a new deal, it is claimed.

Musacchio’s game time at Milan has decreased over the last few months as he has fallen down the pecking order, and the player’s agent recently gave a lengthy interview during which he expressed frustration at the Rossoneri’s treatment of his client.

Our mercato expert Vito Angele told us that Sevilla and Valencia are keen on Musacchio, with Milan valuing the 29-year-old at around €6million.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira on Twitter, Milan have now told Musacchio’s agent that they will not offer him a new deal, with his current contract set to expire in June 2021.

If an offer of €8-10million arrives during the upcoming window he will be sold, with Valencia the club leading the chase at the moment.
