La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes that Les Bleus will have to get past the tournament’s surprise package so far in Morocco in the second semi-final of the World Cup in Qatar, which will kick off at 20:00 CET at the Al-Bayt Atadium in Al-Khor.
Whoever wins will meet Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the final on Sunday evening, as they beat Croatia 3-0 last night. Theo Hernández and Olivier Giroud – the only Milan players left in the competition – will both be on the pitch for France.
Hakim Ziyech has been touted as a transfer target for the Diavolo and he should get the nod from Morocco coach Walid Regragui, who dreams of a historic World Cup final having already taken an African side to the furthest point in the competition’s history.
