According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Milan will face off against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Sunday night looking to return to winning ways, and Giroud will be at the centre of the attack.

Giroud has now not scored in eight consecutive matches between the league and the Champions League. This is his longest drought since he joined Milan, and he has not scored from open play since the first game of the season.

If he doesn’t score on Sunday against Napoli, Giroud would equal the scoreless streak of Gonzalo Higuaín (9 games without a goal between October and December 2018), Gianluca Lapadula (9 games between December 2016 and February 2017) and Mario Balotelli (9 games between March and May 2016) in the Rossoneri.
