GdS: Maldini and Massara’s renewals still not done – Milan cannot accelerate for targets

AC Milan are waiting to get the extensions of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara over the line and then the acceleration on the market should follow.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports this morning that there are still some details to settle before the two directors extend their deals. The agreement on the main aspects has already been found, while the balance on other issues still needs to be found, but there is optimism.

While waiting to renew they are continuing their work anyway, and yesterday they both met the Roma director Tiago Pinto, with whom they spoke above all about Alessandro Florenzi – who will sign permanently for €2m – and Nicolò Zaniolo. There is no negotiation on the Zaniolo front though, given the Giallorossi have set a huge asking price.

Sven Botman and Renato Sanches are also waiting for news from Milan, with Newcastle and PSG respectively pushing hard. Charles De Ketelaere and Hamed Junior Traoré also remain alive as options for the attack, but without the signatures the mercato remains stuck.
