GdS: Man Utd agreed key stipulation with Milan when allowing full-back to leave on loan

AC Milan are set to discuss the permanent signing of Diogo Dalot if he continues to impress as the season goes on, a report claims.

Dalot put in a fantastic performance on Thursday night as Milan romped to a 3-0 win over Sparta Praha in the Europa League, with the Portuguese full-back registering a gorgeous assist for his compatriot Rafael Leao before scoring his first goal for the club.

However, the 21-year-old only arrived from Manchester United on a dry loan towards the end of the summer window, so the more that the impressive displays continue to roll in the more questions will be asked about his future beyond next summer

La Gazzetta dello Sport take stock of the situation and confirm that there is no option to buy written into Dalot’s loan deal, but United instead agreed that they would negotiate a permanent move should all parties be willing.

Of course, the better he does in the coming weeks the more his value will be driven up and the more likely the Premier League side are to want to keep him.
