A bid for Ismael Bennacer arrived in AC Milan’s inbox from outside Europe, a report claims, but it is not deemed adequate for the midfielder to pack his bags.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are still hoping that they can secure the two or three exits needed to win the race for Manu Kone of Borussia Monchengladbach, with Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega strong candidates to depart.
However, it is Bennacer who seems to be drumming up the most interest, at least overseas. The Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah explored the possibility of bringing him to the Middle East and they even put forward an offer.
The bid for the former Empoli man came in at under €20m though, which was not enough for the green light to arrive from the Rossoneri directors. Nonetheless, the Algerian’s departure is still considered possible, if the offer were to rise.
Bennacer started the first game of the season on Saturday against Torino and formed a double pivot with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but the general consensus is that they both struggled on the night.
Massimo Ambrosini even revealed his belief that the 26-year-old hasn’t been the same since his serious injury, and that he should not be a starter in the current side.
Lmao it’s so funny ,these saudi clubs pays the crazy amount of money for all kind of trash players but when it is about milan they offer under value, 20 for a player like benny what a clowns 🤣🤣
That’s exactly what I was thinking. We also don’t have the luck of others to offer ok players a lot of money. When it comes to Milan, ridiculously low prices are always offered. If Bennacer was at Atalanta they would certainly receive an offer of over 40 million for Ismael. It’s like a curse on our club, we can’t sell well
Saudi know that we desperate offload some of our players. Thats why everybody come with cheap offer.
Benny is valued at 30mil and he is not on expiring contract. Why would we accept such low offer.
Bennacer has not been the same player since his injury and in my opinion he’s not worth more than 20-25m but those Saudi clubs have the money to burn so hopefully his agent can get this deal done.
Milan need to move on from this player because I think his best days are behind him.
Hard to say. Last season was riddled with injuries. I wouldn’t mind keeping him at the club this season, to hopefully improve.
Selling him for below 20mil makes no sense. We wont find a better or even equal player for that money. He also did ok last year at the end of the season when he recoverd from his injury. He seems fine now too.
60m and he can go
It’s just the beginning of the negotiation and Al-Qadsiah thinks we are under pressure to sell this late in the window to achieve our goals.
Maybe we are?
More likely, we will end up negotiating them up to 25 to 30 with some bonuses if we really want to sell him and bring in a Kone, etc.
Given that he has multiple years on his contract, started the first game, played reasonably well and looks much sharper than end of last year I personally think its 50-50 this late in the window.
It does feel like we’re trying to force this move, and late into the window. I’d keep him.
35-40 million. Because his contract isn’t expiring. Under 20 million is a joke…
If we can be patient when we buy, we must also be patient when we sell. Do not let him go for less than 25m.
We have to take the money and run
So, they’re LOWBALLING Milan with such an EMBARRASSING offer?!!! HOW DARE THEY?!!! Milan management should get irritated and lift their asking price to 50.1M€ because that’s how business should be done!!!
Don’t worry we will defiantly sell on him the cheap.
Have to balance that NET Transfer Spend…35M here we come!!
We can then low-ball Broussia Mongenblach for Koné and then watch Roma swoop in and take him just like Atalanta did with Samardvić – brilliant!!!
AND Don’t worry about the striker position – and that Morata is already out injured for 3 weeks with the season just starting – I’m sure he will be completely healthy and will be able to start the next 50 games without injury or rest – no problem – and if he can’t not to worry – we have the perfect #9 in Jovic 🤡🤡🤡. All will be well – so you can rest up Zlatan it’s Day 7 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope it is true, and definitely not under 20 but somewhere around 25m€ with bonuses is okey, and I hope they find the way to deal… He is no more needed and his quality goes down.. 50m€ maybe 2 years ago..
