GdS: Milan could resume pursuit of PSV striker amid links with €55m Arsenal move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could return to the idea of trying to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen in the summer window, according to a report.

Malen was having an excellent season having netted 17 goals in 25 games before his knee injury last December and the eventual cancellation of the Eredivisie season due to the Coronavirus emergency.

There were rumours that Mino Raiola – an agent with strong links to Milan – had actually offered his client to the Diavolo in a €25m deal.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Milan could consider a fresh attempt to try and sign the Netherlands international during the summer window.

This comes after a report in the Daily Mail last month claimed that Arsenal are also weighing up the idea of trying to re-sign Malen, having let him join PSV for just £500k with an asking price of €55m now set for the 21-year-old forward.
