GdS: Milan fully convinced by Fenerbahce forward and would pay clause – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to reinforce their attacking department and they are aiming to accelerate a deal for Arda Güler of Fenerbahce, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Milan like Güler ‘very, very much’ having seen that the 18-year-old has grown a lot in recent months with club and country.

He convinces everyone within the Rossoneri management because he seems like a special player. He is technical, creative and by far the most talented of the current Turkish generation.

Milan would undoubtedly pay the €17.5m release clause and spoke to the player yesterday too, trying to convince him that among the many offers – Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund above all – the Rossoneri are worth joining.

However, the situation is complicated because of situations linked to the agents, Fenerbahce and various other complications. It is a difficult operation because Fenerbahce want to try and keep the player in Istanbul (on loan) for another year.

  1. I presume the issue with this is that, even though the transfer fee is capped, his agents/father are going to auction off to the highest bidder willing to brib…. sorry, pay their commission requests
