AC Milan have a strong and serious interest in signing Arda Güler from Fenerbahce this summer for a number of reasons, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning recalls how Güler scored a wonder-goal in Turkey’s 2-0 win against Wales on Monday night as he cut in on his favoured left foot from the right wing and curled a gorgeous shot into the top corner.
It was his first goal for the Turkish national team, and by now the 18-year-old is a ‘golden talent’ on the wish list of half of Europe, including the new Milan under Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada.
The management are eager to give Stefano Pioli a player in line with the club’s policy and Güler fits the bill because he is young, talented, versatile and has the potential to multiply his value.
Rafaela Pimenta – Mino Raiola’s heir – lavished praise on the teenager: “Guler is in great demand. He will become the next top player in European football.”
Güler has inherited Mesut Ozil’s number 10, but compared to the German he is a bit of a different player. He plays on the right and has more of an eye for goal, with six goals and seven assists last season for Fenerbahce.
The purchase of Güler would solve two problems for Milan given that he prefers playing on the right wing where the Rossoneri have struggled for a while now, but he can also play as a playmaker which is handy given Ismael Bennacer’s absence.
If Cardinale can gift Guler to Milan, then i am ready to forgive him for sacking Maldini.
If they don’t sell any of Tonali, Maignan or Theo along the way.
Jeremy Doku is also a good option for the RW. AM and LW

We had great luck with Turkish players lately,
If Pimenta is his agent we all know what that means… commission abound and you know how much we love to pay them to get or keep players 😁
