GdS: Milan, Juventus and Newcastle all keen as Roma forward could leave

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to monitor the situation surrounding Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo whose future is uncertain, a report claims.

Milan have been linked with a move for the Italian winger over the past few weeks as they look to bolster the attack in view of a 2022-23 campaign where there will be the double mission of retaining the Scudetto and also going further in the Champions League.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Zaniolo has no certainty about his future at the moment despite the fact that talks are on with Roma over the potential renewal of his contract.

At the moment, it seems that the former Inter academy player will not accept the €3.5m net per season renewal proposal on the table from the Giallorossi and for this he could leave this summer.

There is plenty of interest too as Juventus, Milan and Newcastle United are mentioned as being keen.

  2. Can’t wait until we sign him, just so I can read the comments how football scouts don’t see he is injured and bad. 😀

  3. He has talent of course and he’s young (so he will cost a lot); but he’s a huge injury risk. It is not worth the risk to spend all that money with a serious risk of him being a complete waste of money.
