GdS: Milan keen on signing PSG defender on free transfer; RB Leipzig and Man City ahead

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Tanguy Kouassi, but are currently behind two other clubs in the race.

That is according to Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), which confirms the Rossoneri’s interest in the 17-year-old Frenchman, whose contract expires in the summer with no signs that he is set to renew.

Milan’s owners Elliott Management have of course favoured a recruitment system based around purchasing young players with high potential and developing them in order to record gains on the balance sheet.

That is set to continue this summer, especially if Ralf Rangnick takes up a new adventure in Italy and joins Milan, as it is also his preferred method of work.

However, Milan are not along in their pursuit of Kouassi, as the paper claims that RB Leipzig and Manchester City appear to be ahead of the competition at the moment.
