GdS: Milan are waiting for Lazetic offers with a loan move most likely

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are waiting to receive some offers for Mark Lazetic but it is only expected that he will have another loan spell rather than get a permanent move, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), there is no chance that Lazetic will play any role for the Milan first team this season given he had a disappointing loan spell at Altach in Austria.

Despite the excitement around his initial arrival at the club, he seems to have no future at the club anymore. Milan would be open to a full sale but are aware that that is unlikely.

They are awaiting loan proposals for the Serbian who played 10 times for Altach last season and failed to score a single goal.

At 19 years old, he still has a lot of time to prove himself, but it seems that will not be happening at Milan.

  1. Milan have a lot of young players that a stubborn and naive coach can’t train. Look at Barcelona vs Milan and see the numbers of young players who are making our team look ordinary. Some of those lads are barely 17 to 22 years but they play like superstars because they are given the chance and also trained well. No player in the Milan team right now is really that bad including Adli and CDK, but the coach seem so clueless and blank on what to do with those raw talents thereby making the directors that purchased them look like they know nothing about the transfer market.
Just imagine if Pioli was our coach during the banter era when we clearly lacked quality and dept, then we wouldn’t know El-sharaaawy or Donnaruma. This current Milan coach sadly is wasteful with talents that if given to a more resourceful manager would have turned them to pure gold.

  2. Lazetic did basically nothing in his time on loan in Austria, which is a league where young talents thrive all the time. He managed to do even less than CDK did in his debut Serie A season… in Austria. I think the feeling already is that he is a bust, at least compared to whatever the vision was for him when he was brought in.

It seems harsh to say at only 19 years old, but the lack of any real interest in ANYONE bringing him to their team when it seems like Milan is prepared to give him away gives a pretty good indication of everyone else’s opinion of him as well. This isn’t just a Milan thing.

    1. Just churn them and burn them baby….

Let’s not pretend he ever stood a chance.

But his existence in the squad also would’ve restricted opportunities for Colombo (who also doesn’t stand a chance).

So I guess we’ve literally killed two players’ careers in one go.

      Well done everyone.
