GdS: Milan management make a dangerous decision regarding the striker situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could be making a huge mistake by not signing a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic before the window closes, a report claims.

Although the scoreline reads that Milan beat Spezia 3-0, it was far from a walkover for the Rossoneri on Sunday evening. It took Milan until the second half to break the deadlock and a bit of inspiration from Hakan Calhanoglu was needed off the bench, with Lorenzo Colombo having been hauled off after 45 minutes of toiling awa without any success.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan have shown in recent matches that perhaps a deputy Ibrahimovic would be needed, but the management have decided that one will not arrive for now.

This choice of the Rossoneri management leaves some doubts, as Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao are natural wingers, while Colombo is promising but he is only 18 years old. The hope is that the Swede will return to the field as soon as possible.
