GdS: Milan monitoring Ziyech’s situation but Chelsea’s collaboration would be necessary

AC Milan are continuing to monitor the situation surrounding Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech who could leave this summer, according to a report.

Milan are on the lookout for wingers that would guarantee more quality in terms of goals and assists and being able to beat a man, with Ziyech’s name increasingly linked. The former Ajax star ended up on the fringes of Thomas Tuchel’s plans after his €40m move to Stamford Bridge, having amassed just four goals in 33 appearances across the Premier League and Champions League.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are keeping a close eye on what happens with Ziyech as they believe they could have the opportunity to snatch him on loan. However, the deal would require the collaboration of the Blues because the Moroccan international earns €7m net per year, meaning Chelsea would have to take on part of the salary.
