AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Lokomotiv Moscow playmaker Aleksey Miranchuk in the January window, a report claims.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form so far this season, amassing eight goals and four assists in 17 games in all competitions for the Russian side.
His performances have earned him links with a move to Juventus, a side who Lokomotiv have already played in the Champions League group stages.
However, Tuesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – makes the shock claim that Milan have been offered the chance to sign Miranchuk in the upcoming transfer window.
The paper goes on to claim though that the player does not have the characteristics that the team are looking for at present, hinting that they have rejected the chance to bring him in.
Miranchuk made his debut for the Russian national team four years ago and has five goals in 25 appearances.
