AC Milan are now looking into alternative targets for the centre-forward role but they face a race against time to sign one, according to a report.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s latest update, the parties are still negotiating over the Mehdi Taremi deal, but things are not unblocking and at the moment it seems destined to fade away definitively.
Milan are looking for a high-level alternative to the Iran international to help give Olivier Giroud some support, and the source claims that Youssef En-Nesyri of Sevilla was offered to the Rossoneri management just this morning.
Last season he had a good World Cup and scored 18 goals across all competitions for the Andalusian club, helping them win yet another Europa League title.
However, the door has already been closed because Milan could only complete a loan operation and the 26-year-old Moroccan does not want a temporary solution.

I personally dont know him much, but He is 26 and decent stats last season, plus already 2 goals this season. If the price is right I don’t see why we can’t do a transfer.
We literally just dropped from Taremi, if the management rate him (and Sevilla agreed the price) ofc we can buy him.
I doubt it, he is around 10M more expensive than Taremi and probably wants way higher wages than Taremi. He already makes more than what Milan offered to Taremi. Good player but I don’t think Milan will give over 10-15M for anyone now.

And if he flops by jan at least we know where its at. As the second option he’d get the same amount of min if not more than he did at loan last year.

this guy i watch few games of him. from what i see, he really like to poach on the defenders line, very good instinct movement off ball and can head the ball well, although he is not that high when jumping. also fast striker
the concerning part is that his shot is mostly on the middle, his placed shots are not that accurate. he might improved this season, but he remind me a little bit about rebic
I don’t think Milan will rush into anything last minute. It’s either Taremi, or pass until winter.
his athleticism would make him a fantastic super sub, but i don’t expect him to be a great starter.
Would be an amzaing pick up but no way we get it done in less then 24 hours with the high wages and high price .
