GdS: Milan plan to strengthen the attack this summer but Champions League return is needed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are beginning to plan for next season and a lot hinges on possible Champions League qualification, a report claims.

There are eight games remaining in the current Serie A campaign and the fight for a top four spot is getting more and more intense, with just four points separations second-placed Milan and Napoli in fifth.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews),  Milan will probably make an investment in attack during the summer transfer market. The Rossoneri are looking for a first striker to support Ibrahimovic with three names in mind: Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina, Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo (on loan at Genoa) and Odsonne Edouard of Celtic.

The money that would come from qualifying for the Champions League would be used to strengthen the offensive department, as per the newspaper, so achieving a finish in the top four seems absolutely essential for the Rossoneri in their plans to improve the squad.
