There is not much to be positive about after AC Milan squandered a big chance to put three more points on the board by drawing 2-2 against Salernitana.
Games against the bottom three in Serie A can always be tricky propositions especially when they have just changed their head coach as Salernitana have, but the Rossoneri were unable to make Junior Messias’ early opener last as Bonazzoli equalised then Milan Djuric made it 2-1 in the second half before Rebic equalised off the bench.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) have criticised Maignan’s performance against Salernitana in their player ratings, giving the French goalkeeper a score of 4 out of 10, followed by Tomori, Bennacer, Diaz and Giroud who all got a 5.
Theo Hernandez, Tonali, Kessie and Saelemaekers all got a 5.5 as they were below their usual levels while Calabria, Leao and Messias got a 6. The only positive scores went to Romagnoli and Rebic who got a 6.5.
