Rade Krunic

GdS: Milan standing firm on the conditions of Krunic’s January exit

AC Milan are refusing to be bullied when it comes to the departure of Rade Krunic this month, despite it clearly being best for both parties if he leaves the club.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have already received a bid of €4m for the Bosnian midfielder from Fenerbache but opted not to accept it.

It did not meet the demands that Milan have set out and so far, there has not been an improved bid from the Turkish side.

This is a risky strategy from Milan as Krunic has not played since the end of November and appears to have burned his bridges when it comes to first-team minutes.

Krunic is out with reported back problems but it seems Pioli would be in no mind to use him in the midfield right now anyway unless there were injuries.

Milan do not want much more than Fenerbahce offered. They want the fixed part of the transfer to be at least €5m, and there must be bonuses on top of that.

Given Fenerbahce wanted to sign him in the summer too, they are expected to come back with an improved offer which suits all parties.

  1. Stop squabbling over 1 million and let the player go. We should have let him go in the summer. Now getting a bid of 4 million is just plain luck.
