GdS: Milan to target €40m man to complete the attack even if Ibra and Mandzukic renew

AC Milan could make the move for a new striker this summer to complete their attacking department, according to a report.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), it now seems almost certain that Ibrahimovic will remain for another season and sign a new one-year deal that – thanks to the growth decree – will cost Milan €10.5m gross and not €14m as this season’s costs.

With qualification for the Champions League, Mario Mandzukic’s contract will also be automatically renewed, but this does not mean that another centre-forward will not arrive in the summer. It seems that a young player who can grow alongside them could arrive, and a track that is gaining steam is the one that leads to Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) reported earlier in the month that Vlahovic has rejected Fiorentina’s offer of a contract renewal and could leave this summer for a fee of around €40m.
