AC Milan are working to try and conclude a deal with Torino for midfielder Soualiho Meite, according to a report.
After being in the stands for the league match on Saturday, Meité did not even get on the bench last night in the second round of the Coppa Italia.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Milan management are looking for the right midfield reinforcement and have been in talks with the Granata for days to try to bring the Frenchman to Milanello.
Although there are other clubs interested in him such as Napoli, the Rossoneri seem to be the most popular choice for Meite. The two clubs are working on the basis of a paid loan (€1million) with an option to buy set at €7m.
The interest of Napoli that has emerged in the last few hours is concrete but it may have come too late, and he next few days will be decisive on the Mieté front.
