GdS: Milan’s predicted XI for Juventus trip – One key change from Lazio loss

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to make one change to the starting XI which to Lazio for the game against Juventus, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are looking to turn their season around having lost six of their first 11 games to start a season for the first time since 1941-42.

Pioli has lost two of his four first games in charge including damaging defeats to both Roman clubs, and the pressure is on him and the players to haul the team out of the bottom half of the table.

According to Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via @milaneye), Pioli will make one change to the line-up which were beaten by Lazio last weekend, bringing in Suso for the injured Samu Castillejo.

Leo Duarte and Alessio Romagnoli will therefore be the centre-back pairing with Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria the full-backs, while Ismael Bennacer will be partnered in midfield by Lucas Paqueta and Rade Krunic.

Krzysztof Piatek will be the number nine, flanked by Hakan Calhanoglu to the left.
