GdS: Milan’s probable XI for Lazio – Kessie on the bench; Biglia, Krunic to start

By Oliver Fisher -

Stefano Pioli is set to make three changes to the starting XI he fielded against SPAL for Sunday’s crucial clash with Lazio, a report claims.

The Rossoneri scraped past a side who hadn’t scored a goal away from home all season on Thursday thanks to Suso’s free-kick, and a number of outlets have suggested that the winger could take his spot in the line-up back from Samu Castillejo.

However, Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) believes that Suso will in fact start the game against Lazio from the bench.

The paper claims that Pioli will use a front three of Castillejo, Krzysztof Piatek and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Meanwhile, in the midfield Lucas Biglia is set to come in for Ismael Bennacer, while Rade Krunic will apparently start over Franck Kessie who is struggling for form.

With Mateo Musacchio injured, Milan will start the game with Davide Calabria at right-back, moving Leo Duarte across to centre-back.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): G. Donnarumma; Calabria, Duarte, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Paquetà, Biglia, Krunic; Castillejo, Piatek, Calhanoglu.

Probable Lazio XI (3-5-2): Strakosha; Luiz Felipe, Acerbi, Bastos; Lazzari, Milinkovic, Leiva, Luis Alberto, Lulic; Immobile, Correa.
