GdS: Milan’s probable XI to face Udinese – Pioli forced into changes in attack

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will be forced into making changes to his attack for the game against Udinese tomorrow.

Milan sent a strong signal after a difficult period with the 2-1 win against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night, but the season is long and consistency is needed, starting with the game at San Siro against a tricky Udinese team.

As per multiple sources Ante Rebic will be available tomorrow despite coming off with a muscle problem against Roma, but Hakan Calhanoglu will miss at least two games, Zlatan Ibrahimovic four or more, and Mario Mandzukic will not return for ten days.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) predicts the Milan team that Pioli could field against Udinese. A back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez will be in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma. Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie will be the double pivot, with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Ante Rebic acting behind Leao.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Brahim, Rebic; Leao.

    1. Hauge needs to prove himself in trainings. That’s where the call up is made. We can’t afford him play now, then be riddiculed later by the media & fans if he plays badly.
