On the eve of Milan’s crucial clash against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, some doubts exist regarding Stefano Pioli’s team selection.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, Pioli could put striker Mario Mandzukic out there from from the first minute against Lazio, with Rafael Leao therefore on the bench. For the Croatian it would be his first Serie A start for the Rossoneri club as the veteran centre-forward therefore appears to be near full fitness.
The same source reports that Theo Hernandez could actually make the game despite plenty of reports suggesting that he will miss out due to injury. The Frenchman is feeling better and could recover for tomorrow’s big match and the newspaper even has him in the starting line-up.
For Pioli it would be excellent news, but we will know more after the training session this afternoon and the press conference of the coach.
