Stefano Pioli’s friends have reportedly revealed the signings that the AC Milan head coach is expected to welcome during the summer window.
La Gazzetta dello Sport managed to speak to Pioli while on his well-earned vacation and they also managed to chat with some of his more outspoken friends and asked them if they have heard anything from Pioli regarding the additions the management are expecting to make.
The paper claims that Pioli confirmed to them in confidence that there could be as many as four more additions. “The coach told us that they take him a defender, a midfielder, a 7 and a 10. Or maybe a 10 that also plays 7,” they said (via SempreMilan.it).
There are a number of different transfer targets that have been mentioned for each role including Sven Botman and Gleison Bremer for the defence, Renato Sanches for the midfield and forwards such as Charles De Ketelaere, Noa Lang and Nicolo Zaniolo. Of course, it is presumed that Divock Origi’s arrival is already presumed as part of this given his medical is imminent.
4 players beside Origi: Botman/Breimer (30m), Sanches (15m), De Ketelaere (35m), and Asensio (30m). Noa Lang will come, if Milan decide to sell Rebic. Messias and Florenzi also have been tied by Milan in permanent bases as backup in right wing and right back. Saelemaekers now available in the masket. Milan also need a backup for left back.
Yeah, Botman/Bremer will not cost 30M, clubs don’t sell players based on how much you can pay.
They have Ballo-Toure and no intention of moving him on.

LOL. We aren’t signing Botman or Bremer or CDK or Zaniolo etc…and perhaps now not even Sanches. We don’t have the $$. This is all fantasy. Botman or Bremer do NOT cost only 30m and neither does CDK (more like 45-50m) shit even Sanches is more expensive than reported. It feels exactly like the past few windows – linked to so many exciting players – then when the real price is revealed – we suddenly go quiet lol. Fans must be realistic. Redbird will NOT all of a sudden start spending 50M on a player. We have a limited transfer budget. 100M (and I doubt we even have this much) is not much in todays market unfortunately. Maldini will work his magic no doubt and get the most value from it – BUT the players we are being linked too cost much more than what is being reported and we simply do not have the cash to get 2-3 of them AND fill out the rest of the squad.
1. Elliot won’t spend cz even they got money but they no longer the owner, Redbird won’t spend too they still have to pay Elliot -600m & stadium project,
2. scudetto is miracle for us fans but disaster for owner that now almost everyone want payrise esp they who near exp contract,
3. no one wanted the deadwood of the squad (Castilejo, Rebic, Salad etc) cz of high price, injury prone or just cz deadwood,
4. don’t expect big transfer or miracle by owner nor directors, MM & players did
Forget about getting players, this mgmt is not even closing Maldini deal. It is evident that Gazidis is more powerful than Maldini, which is causing more friction that expected. Of course Paolo being the legend he is, is obviously right in demanding more power. Redbird should have the vision to read between the lines and let Maldini weave his magic. Else we might be in for a tough time ahead, if Paolo gets demotivated.
