AC Milan are back at San Siro after a couple of away defeats on the bounce, and they must return to winning ways against Lazio.
The losses to Torino and Bologna in the past few days seem to have put an end to the top four hopes, and there is a legitimate fear that things could really implode from here given the negative atmosphere surrounding the squad.
However, the players have an obligation to finish the season in the best way and to at least try and get Europa League football, but in order to do so wins are a must.
Predicted starting XIs
Sergio Conceicao is under pressure amid rumours that he might not even make it to the end of the season if the spiral continues. He will be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Emerson Royal and Alessandro Florenzi due to injury.
The good news is that Kyle Walker returns and will take his spot at right-back, with Malick Thiaw and Strahinja Pavlovic the centre-back pairing then Theo Hernandez the left-back.
Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders are expected to be the double pivot with Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao operating behind Santiago Gimenez.
If that is correct it remains to be seen whether it will be a 4-2-3-1 or more of a 4-3-3, , while on the bench the likes of Warren Bondo, Samuel Chukwueze, Joao Felix, Riccardo Sottil and Tammy Abraham will be available.

Thanks to this idiot coach who can’t keep a clean sheet. We had a pretty good defense when Fonseca was starting Thiaw and Gabbia. Now we leak goals like an old toilet leaks water.
Why is Musah not in the double pivot, pushing Tiji up and Puli to the right. Musah is not a rw, he should not be in the final 3rd, we established this for many games.
When Musah gets the ball, carry it to the final 3rd, pass it off, then drop back. Don’t try to shoot, just make a sensible pass, fall back to defend , put Musah in positions to support, don’t try to create.
