GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Sassuolo – several changes from Lazio disaster

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli could well make multiple changes to his starting line-up for the game against Sassuolo after two disastrous results against Inter and Lazio.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ciprian Tatarusanu should start in goal with Davide Calabria and Pierre Kalulu keeping their place in the back four, but two changes are expected with Theo Hernandez likely to return from injury and Simon Kjaer tipped to cover for the injured Fikayo Tomori.

Ismael Bennacer is suspended after amassing too many yellow cards and therefore it should be up to Rade Krunic to join Sandro Tonali in the double pivot rather than Aster Vranckx or Tommaso Pobega.

There is a battle for the right wing spot between Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias, while Charles De Ketelaere is currently ahead of Brahim Diaz in the race for the No.10 role. Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud should complete the attack.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Kalulu, Theo Hernandez; Krunic, Tonali; Saelemaekers/Messias, De Ketelaere, Leao; Giroud.
