GdS: Probable starting XIs for Milan vs. Man Utd – Ibra, Calhanoglu, Pogba and Rashford to start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is likely to start Zlatan Ibrahimovic tonight against his old club Manchester United in the second leg of the Europa League last 16 tie, a report claims.

After the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford thanks to Simon Kjaer’s injury time away goal, the tie is on a knife’s edge. The paper reports that Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal protected by a back four of Diogo Dalot, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez from right to left.

Soualiho Meite and Franck Kessie will be the central midfield pairing, with Alexis Saelemaekers and Rade Krunic on the right and left wing respectively and Ante Rebic leading the line as the centre-forward, with Hakan Calhanoglu in the No.10 role.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Meite, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Krunic; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, Fred; James, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford; Greenwood.
